About HealthTrain

HealthTrain†started in October 2003. Tanis Hand and ZoŽ Rawles formed a partnership with the aim of providing good quality training relevant to health professionals working in Primary Care. Zoe is now running the business as Tanis has moved on and†is now the HCA Advisor for the RCN.

Since 2003 HealthTrain has delivered numerous study days to members of the Primary Health Care Team and Independent Nursing Homes, on a wide range of topics designed to meet specific needs and in line with core competencies.

The HealthTrain programme of events is constantly evolving according to the needs of the health care team. For full details of forthcoming study days (including venues and prices), please check the Programme. HealthTrain is an Approved Centre for Agored Cymru (formally OCN Wales).

For those students wishing to achieve recognition for their study, the days will be linked with accredited units. The evidence of study (written tests, case studies etc) can be collated into a portfolio that will lead to additional certification and credits from Agored Cymru.
